New Bi-Colour expands world leading LED navigation lamp range

15 March 2013 in News

Hella marine 'fit and forget' engineering in a convenient bi-colour package.

Purpose designed and manufactured in New Zealand for the harshest offshore conditions, this addition to the proven NaviLED PRO range ensures energy saving, reliability and safety.

Each lamp is a lightweight, completely sealed device, impervious to salt water and contaminants. The lens material is ultra-heavy duty Grilamid 'optical nylon' that is highly resistant to vibration, impact and shock loads. Often placed in the most vulnerable positions on yacht bows, sailors will appreciate the strength and resilience to waves and collisions with solid objects that this rugged material provides.

With a low current draw of less than 2W ( < 0.17 A @ 12 V / < 0.08 A @ 24 V), the power saving benefits compared to an incandescent lamp are substantial. Sophisticated Hella marine MultivoltTM electronics ensure reliable operation and illumination from 9-33V DC plus lamp protection under severe voltage fluctuations, low battery voltages and across long cable runs.

Installation is swift and very secure. The sealed light unit clips firmly into the tough nylon shroud and is
conveniently pre-wired with quality sheathed marine cable for reliable electrical connections.

Hella marine LED Bi-Colour lamps are internationally certified according to the Marine Equipment
Directive (Wheelmark), BSH, IMO COLREG, USCG and ABYC and are backed by a 5 year warranty.
