Hella Marine exhibited for the second time at Seawork 2015, taking a larger stand in the main hall, located close to their primary commercial distributors – EC Smith and Furneaux Riddall.
In addition to 3 main halls comprising manufacturers, boat builders, designers and technical services, the show has a demonstration pontoon, where clients are able to view and test the boats on display.
The show had over 600 exhibitors, over 150 of these being boat builders. Over the 3 days, over 7500 visitors came to the show, all professionals in the sector. The show is not open to the general public. The boat builders are primarily from the UK (around 70%), although there is a strong presence of Dutch, Scandinavian and French builders. Vessel types include fast ferries, crew transport, windfarm support, pilot and tugs, work-cats, and special operational vessels.
The new products on display (Sea Hawk XLB, AS3, Module 70, and EuroLED 75) were very well received and the Sea Hawk range was nominated for a Seawork ‘Innovation Award’, and was on display on the nominee area in Hall C.
