Hella marine lights up Sea Help

13 January 2014 in News

Complete packages of Hella marine LED lamps and electrical accessories have been selected by Croatian based Sea Help for their latest breakdown and rescue craft.

Sea Help provides subscribing members services such as towing, delivery of spare parts and fuel, jump starting, freeing of ropes around propellers, emergency transport of crew, weather advice plus local marine information and more. They operate a fleet of 8m long twin outboard powered RIB’s from bases in Croatia, Slovenia, the North of Italy and the Balearics to cover service in the Adriatic from Venice to Dubrovnik and on the Balearics.

Each boat is comprehensively equipped with sophisticated radar and GPS systems to operate at night, a 2KW generator, dive gear and numerous standard spare parts (belts, impellers, thermostats etc.). Leaking boats can also be assisted and kept afloat with two powerful pumps (2000litres/min).

Three new Sea Help RIB’s begin construction in Croatia in February and are 100% Hella marine equipped. Lighting is all LED and includes navigation lamps, deck floodlights, touch sensitive dome lights, chart table lamps, courtesy lighting and high intensity LED flasher lamps from the commercial range. A number of Hella marine electrical accessories have also been specified including relays, fans, battery switches and switch panels.

The durable and efficient Hella marine LED technology selected for Sea Help is another example of the lighting used by thousands of similar vessels in operation around the world. The cost / benefit proposition of Hella marine products to commercial, search and rescue, military, police and security vessel operators is thoroughly proven and increasingly recognised as the top choice for this segment.
